Hi I'm Connor

I'm a musician. I love technology. I'm serving a mission in New Jersey. I'm a Mormon

About Me

In my family, there exist three fundamental things that each member has learned since day one. A love and appreciation for music, a deep understanding of technology, and a strong testimony that Jesus Christ is our Savior. My parents decided that when we were old enough to read, we were old enough to start reading music. So at the age of 5, I started taking piano lessons. As the years progressed, so too did my ability to play the piano, however my love for it did not. To me, there was always something missing. It wasn't until I reached the age of 12 that I decided to try something new. I signed up for a percussion class and immediately fell in love with it. Since then, percussion (or drumming which ever you prefer to call it) has been a huge part of my life. I participated in drum-line all throughout high school, and was drum-line captain my junior and senior year. After high school, I decided to continue my schooling and chose to study Computer Science while simultaneously participating in the university's marching band. I have always been fascinated with technology. My dad taught me how to build computers at a young age, and since then they've been a huge part of who I am. I graduated from high school a little over a year ago, and have been studying Computer Science in college.

Why I am a Mormon

Just like everyone else, I've had my fare share of trials and problems to deal with. I know what it's like to have lost someone very close you. I know what it's like to be stuck in a rut where everything seems to be going wrong, and the world seems to be collapsing around you. However, I also know with every fiber of my being that no matter how lost we may feel, how deep in the abyss of despair we may be, we never are truly alone. Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are there for us. They know each and every one of us, and love us beyond all possibility of comprehension. I am truly grateful to be a member of this church. I know it is true. I am grateful for all the blessings that have resulted from it, and hope to be able to share those with others throughout my life.

How I live my faith

Growing up, I had the opportunity to serve in positions of leadership in my youth groups. I was blessed to be able to work along side my friends as we served in our community, advanced through the scouting organization, and participated in fun activities. Through serving, we were able to appreciate the love Heavenly Father has for all of his children.
