Hi I'm Cassidy

I live in Utah. I love music and love spending time with my friends and family. I"m a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy reading and playing the guitar. I am a student a Weber State University. I recently spent 5 months living in China and teaching english at a kindergarten, I loved every moment of my time there and can't wait to return. I would love to travel more and study language. I'm so grateful for the opportunity I have right now to server a mission in Taiwan!

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up in the church has given me the ability to see how it blesses lives. It has given me a firm foundation of truth to guide me through hard times and even good ones. Being raised in the church, you have to be careful not to take it for granted. I've taken time to really study the doctrine and I honestly believe that it's true. The short time I spent living in China opened my eyes to what life is like without the gospel. The people around me weren't miserable, or bad, or hopeless. Most of them were good, honest people, living their lives and doing their best. But they were missing something and we could both feel it. I'm so grateful for my family and my upbringing. I'm so grateful for the gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I love going to church on Sundays, it's a great opportunity to feel the spirit, learn something new about the gospel, and reconnect with friends and neighbors. I always bring someone to church with me; church is always better when you have someone to share it with.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

You can know for yourself if the church is true, it's simple, and worth it. Ask God. Read the Book of Mormon, meet with the missionaries, attend church. Learn about the gospel and ask God. You have have to listen for an answer, it may come as a feeling, a verse of scripture, a dream, the voice of a friend, an experience, or from some other source, but He will answer. And you can know for yourself. Show more Show less
