Hi I'm Katie Kucejko

I was born and raised in Alabama. I love my friends and family more than anything. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm in college. I love art, especially photography. I love being around animals and getting to interact with them; especially exotic animals. My favorite animals are sloths, manatees, hedgehogs, and echidnas. My dream job would be to work with animals at a zoo or wildlife sanctuary. I have the travel bug. I want to go see everything there is to see. Number one on my list is Australia, closely followed by New Zealand. I hope to study abroad in one of those places one day. I'm the youngest of 3 kids. I grew up in the church.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm Mormon because it makes me happy. I always feel so much better after I go to church. The support and fellowship that I feel there is unlike anything you could get anywhere else. I love that we have a modern prophet to guide us. I love that we have so many resources available in the church to help us reach our eternal goals. I especially love that we have the fullness of the gospel. Recently, I've realized how much of the gospel other churches are missing. I am so grateful for its influence on my life. There's no telling where I would be without it. I'm grateful for the friends that I've made in this church, and for their support and understanding. I'm grateful for the privilege that we have to receive personal revelation through the Spirit. Most of all, I'm grateful for the truth that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints holds.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be a good example to those around me. I want people to see me and know that something is different, and I want them to ask why. When I was younger, I took the church for granted. I didn't realize how many blessings I have just for being a member of this church. Now that I'm older, I'm trying to be more appreciative of it. I want Heavenly Father to know that I am grateful for it. I live my faith by striving to improve myself everyday, and by holding myself to a higher standard than the world would hold me to.
