Hi I'm Gina Young

I love water polo and volleyball. The piano and ukulele are fun to play. Relationships mean everything to me. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Escondido, California for fourteen years. I then moved with my father, brother, and step-mother to Utah. I swim and play both water polo and volleyball I love to mountain bike, hike, and do anything that includes being outdoors. I enjoy woodworking, playing the piano and ukulele, and cooking. I attended BYU-Provo for 3 semesters studying Civil-Engineering and Korean Language before I left for a mission. I am currently serving as a full-time missionary in the California Ventura Mission speaking Spanish.

Why I am a Mormon

In my life I have had my experiences of family heartaches, and these has changed my whole life. Through these trials I have truly learned the importance of families and relationships with others and what is really important in this life. By being a part of this church I have strengthened my relationships with my Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, my family, and with the people around me. We all have divine heritage. We are sons and daughters of an Everlasting Loving Heavenly Father. I believe that the most important thing in this life is each other. Nothing else has brought me greater joy, peace, and happiness than knowing my true identity

How I live my faith

I am serving as a full-time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the California Ventura Spanish Speaking Mission. I have chosen to dedicate these 18 months of my life to serving the Lord and help in bringing His children to know of Him. As a missionary I go about the area that I am living in, and do my best to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to whomever I encounter. I believe that everyone should know that they are a child of God and that they are loved. Through the sacrifice of our Savior, Jesus Christ, we can be cleansed, healed, and truly happy.
