Hi I'm Kayden

I'm going to serve a mission in Ecuador. I'm a valedictorian, a 3 sport athlete, a State Champ Left Tackle, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love my family. I love sports. Football, Basketball, Baseball, and others. I love serving others and making them happy. I like to work hard and accomplish great things. I like to go hiking and camping. I enjoy challenging myself to make myself better in school, in sports, in life. I also play the piano, the guitar, and the tuba. I will be leaving this summer to serve the Lord as a missionary in Ecuador, and I cannot wait. After I serve, I have been invited to play college football at a couple different programs and will continue my education in hopes to be successful and happy in whatever I do.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that this is His church. Jesus Christ is my Savior, Redeemer, and Friend. I want to continue that personal relationship with Him and I know that comes as I continue to serve in His Church. He has given men the authority to help others through His Priesthood. This Priesthood authority and power is found in this Church as it has been Restored. The Restoration through the Prophet Joseph Smith did happen. I know it did. The Restoration of Christ's Church and His gospel happens today as well. Being a "Mormon" makes me want to live a better life as I can recognize and realize my relation with my Heavenly Father and His plan for me. I am a child of God. We all are. He loves us and wants whats best for us. He has provided a way back for us. It is the Savior, Jesus Christ. I know that the Book of Mormon is true because it testifies of Jesus Christ in a way that is powerful yet simple, significant yet subtle. It invites us all to Come unto Christ. I know that our Redeemer Lives, and we too can live again. I know that God loves us and wants us to have faith, have hope, help others on their way, and live like His Son.

How I live my faith

I am not perfect, but I try hard to live my faith as I stand up for what I believe in, in a courageous and courteous manner. In my community, I love fulfilling my duty as I help minister in Sunday worship services for my community congregation and, my favorite, for the retirement center on Sunday afternoons. I want to be there for others and I look for opportunities to help people. I think living my faith is centered upon Christ and His call for us to serve others. I can feel His love and His confidence in me as I serve and I know that that love is shared to others who help serve and who are being served. His love is powerful and is always there for all of us. I want to continue to live my faith as I serve a two year mission to Ecuador starting this summer.
