Hi I'm Dallin Slade

I love Archery! I am from Arizona. Served in the London South Mission. And I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I have a great love for Archery. I also am an avid reader. I enjoy staying up late at night and reading a good book. I also love soccer, or as the English would call it "Football"(that makes more sense) and I've played it since I was 5. I love learning new things and improving. I enjoy serving others. I also love to make people laugh. I love doing outdoor activities such as whitewater-rafting, rockclimbing, and camping. I have 6 younger siblings that are all very talented, as well as two fantastically amazing parents. I am 20 and recently returned from serving in the London South Mission, which is actually the best mission in the world by the way. I currently am studying in the field of Sports Medicine at BYU-Idaho.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed enough to be born into the church. But that doesn't mean I accepted it when I was younger. My personal conversion story began when I was baptized and confirmed a member of The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at the age of eight. That was the first time in my life that I truly felt and recognized to comforting presence of the Holy Spirit. I then gained a testimony of the gospel when I was much older. It was not some big epiphany. My testimony grew through the small and simple things such as daily prayer, scripture study, and through acting in faith. The Book of Mormon played an essential role in my conversion. It all began when I tried to make a daily habit of reading it at a young age. In doing so, I came to a knowledge of its truthfulness. I then went to England for two years to share this miraculous knowledge with everyone I met, and it not only changed other's lives, but also helped me to grow closer to my Father in Heaven and Saviour Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my Faith simply by trying my best to be like the Saviour and learn what truly matters most in life. I strive to always live true to the faith and to keep God's commandments. Since I'm not perfect, I also repent very often and try to improve on a daily basis.
