Hi I'm Samantha Keener

I'm from Texas. I went to BYU-Idaho. I'm a Mormon

About Me

First and foremost: I love my family more than anything. We've moved around some, and I've lived in different states. I've went to BYU-Idaho for two years, and now I am on my mission. I love rock climbing (sadly I've never done it out doors), horse back riding, hiking/camping, reading, swimming, and most of all, doing anything and everything with my family :)

Why I am a Mormon

"Don't be afraid to belive what you love." My testimony is very simple: I love this Church. I love everything from the service, to the orginization of it, to everyone in it. I belive without a doubt that our Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ love us, and I feel that love every time I'm in the Church. I know the Gospel in true becuase I live it and still feel that love. I know the Sciptures are true because again I feel that same love. I see the blessings from living the Gospel, and in my family too.

How I live my faith

Right now I'm on my mission; meaning I stop everything for 18 months, go to a place I've never been, and serve the Lord everyday by helping others find and learn about Jesus Christ and the restored Gospel. Sounds alittle extreme, but serving a mission is tottaly optional. And strangly enough, I never thought I would go on one. But now that I am, I could never explain how good it feels. There are just no words for it. You feel the Holy Ghost, you pray to Heavenly Father, and you gain a relationship with Jesus Christ: but that's just a bonus. Your true joy is helping OTHERS to have that and feel that.
