Hi I'm Eldon Robinson

I'm a husband, father and grandfather. I am currently serving as the Mission President of the Alaska Anchorage Mission.

About Me

I enjoy the outdoors. Currently I'm serving as the mission president of the Alaska Anchorage Mission. I love being with 140 missionaries serving in Alaska and the Yukon Territory. My wife and I enjoy working together in this calling as she serves as my missionary companion. I attended Brigham Young University. After college I was employed by the Utah Division of Parks and Recreation as the Bear Lake State Park Manager. I retired in 2002. I enjoy spending time fishing with my boys and brother. I love my family of 5 children and 19 grandchildren. Three of the grandchildren have been born into our family while we have been serving in Alaska.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a lifetime member of the church, participating in primary, youth and adult activities. I have never questioned the truthfulness of the gospel. I served a full-time mission in Upstate New York. I have always had a testimony of Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon. While serving on my mission, I had opportunity to visit the sites where the restoration of the gospel took place; the Hill Cumorah, the Sacred Grove and other historical sites. I try to do all I can to live the way I have been taught in the church. The church means a great deal to me and my family.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving a mission helping to lift, support and encourage missionaries to help others come unto Christ. I love being a Mormon because I see how the gospel helps people to live happy and fulling lives. Happiness in family life is what it is all about.
