Hi I'm Samantha

I'm from Utah. My family rocks and I'm so thankful to have them forever! Making life my Happily Ever After!

About Me

I served in the England, London mission 2014-2015, which has been the biggest blessing in my life. I love people and making friends. I like to play volleyball, basketball, track, and golf. I also enjoy hiking, camping, fishing, and a day at the beach! I have four older brothers that are my biggest heroes. I'm a family girl and would rather be with them than anywhere else. Health is a priority in my life, so I can always do what I love. I love holidays, especially Christmas!

Why I am a Mormon

I had the privilege of being raised in the church. I grew up always believing in Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I remember feeling the presence of the Holy Ghost in sacred moments and I KNEW what it was. I watched my parents and how they relied on the Gospel in every aspect of life. I thought that's how everyone lived. At a young age I began relying on it through prayer. I would pray when I was in need of comfort and help. As I began to get older I started to read.. even though I hardly understood The Book of Mormon as this point of my life, I was taught it would help me and I had faith it would. Whenever I felt desperate of a little more, a little more guidance, direction, or comfort I would open The Book of Mormon (sometimes to a random page) and began to read. Immediately, I recognized the spirit that I felt and realized that what I was reading was an answer to my prayers or that it helps me with what I'm going through. I always knew Heavenly Father was aware of me. Even though I have never experienced life outside the church nor do I know what it's like without the Gospel in my life. I know that Heavenly Father is there, no matter who we are, where we've been, where we will go, He will always love us all. We are all His children and He cares about us. I can't imagine life without the Gospel. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is sweet. It is simple and I love it. I'm grateful to know The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true.

How I live my faith

Every day I get up and read from The Book of Mormon. I love starting my day off with the peace and clarity it brings me by "putting on my armor". Every day brings an opportunity to share my testimony, which helps it grow. There are so many things that happen in just 24 hours, I constantly have a prayer in my heart to help me do what is right and remember who I'm striving to become like, Christ. Serving others brings me closer to Christ and I'm able to feel the love He has for me and them. Every day I see the Lord's hand in my life, and each night before I pray, I think of the blessings I've witnessed from Him that knows me perfectly. I feel His love. Some days can be hard, but I know that He will always send us help. There are so many experiences I've had to help remind me of the most important thing: I am a daughter of a Loving Heavenly Father. He has sent angels to me to help me feel of His tender love and mercy. Every test, trial, and affliction in life is to help us grow and become like Him. Alma 7:23 "And now I would that ye should be humble, and be submissive and gentle, easy to be entreated; full of patience and long-suffering; being temperate in all things; being diligent in keeping the commandments of God at all times; asking for whatsoever things ye stand in need, both spiritual and temporal; always returning thanks unto God for whatsoever things ye do receive. " I know that He is always aware. He will always reach out to His Children.
