Hi I'm Lauren

I'm a wife, mother, and teacher at heart!

About Me

I grew up in Utah and now live in Buffalo, NY. I am a wife and mother of two. I used to teach 3rd grade and miss it like crazy, but I sure love being able to stay home with my kiddos right now. We love to play games at our house- we get a little competitive at times, but always have a good laugh. Spending time with my family is what I would choose to do over anything else. I have a really hard time being away from my family, but I am loving the opportunity to share the gospel more than I ever have before!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have gained my witness from the Holy Ghost that everything about this gospel is good and true. It makes me a better person and makes me want to live each day doing good and being good. It is a gospel of love and service and hope. When I read the Book of Mormon or pray, I feel God's love for me. When I go to church each Sunday or hear our living prophet speak, I know it's true and feel so uplifted. This gospel carries me from day to day. I am a Mormon because I can't imagine what my life would be without this gospel. I can't imagine anything better than knowing what I know. I know where I came from, that I'm a daughter of God, and that my Father in heaven has a plan for me here on this earth. Most importantly, I know that because of God's plan I can be with my family for eternity. I love being a Mormon because it is a faith that I get to LIVE daily. I always say it's not my religion, but my way of life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be a little better today than I was yesterday. I go to church every week to be renewed with the Spirit. I read my scriptures, pray, and have family home evening with my family. I teach my kids the truths of this gospel so that one day they will be able to gain their own testimony of it. I testify to the young women in our church and try to help them understand a little bit more about being a daughter of God. I try to share the knowledge that I have gained with others so that can also feel the joy and happiness that I feel each day!
