Hi I'm Steve

I'm a husband and father and I like to make things. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Montana where I fished as much as any kid can. I still like to fish and go often with my kids. I work in IT primarily as a system administrator. I enjoy making all kinds of things. I have a variety of tools that I use for woodworking, metals fabrication, and hobby electronics. I enjoy construction and am currently finishing our basement. I like helping people and feel valued when I am needed.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I believe God has a plan for me. Part of that plan is to be baptized and become a member of His church. He gives me and my family guidance through his prophets, through scriptures and directly through the Holy Ghost so we can know what to do. I am grateful for my savior, Jesus Christ who died for us all so that we can repent of our sins and be made clean again. I want to follow Him and live with Him again, and my family forever.

How I live my faith

I am primarily focused on my family. We believe we can all be together as families after this life. In our family we try to keep the commandments, pray together, read scriptures together and have family night once a week where we have a spiritual lesson followed by a fun activity. At church I teach a lesson once a month on various gospel topics. I try to live like Jesus wants me to live. I believe an important part of life is being kind and helping others.
