Hi I'm Hunter

I live in Utah, I love football, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love playing football. I attend Lone Peak High School. Home of the 2013 Basketball National Champions!!! I love riding my dirt bike and boating. I have played pretty much all sports, but some of them, not competetively.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have seen the affect it has on the lives of myself and others when we live the way we are supposed to. My favorite part of the church, and probably one of the biggest misconceptions about the church is our beliefs of Christ. Some people believe that we worship Joseph Smith, but that is not true at all. He was a great prophet, but as is stated in the name, (Church of Jesus Christ of Ladder-day Saints) the church is based on the Christ and Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I go to seminary at my school. We have the largest LDS seminary in the world. I love reading my scriptures, and I am particularly interested in 3 Nephi: 17.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

St John 14:21-24 21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. 22 Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world? 23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. 24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me. We can come to know Christ and have a greater testimony of God when we keep the commandments that we have been given. When we keep the commandments, we are promised, things will be revealed to us that we might use to strengthen ourselves and our testimonies. Show more Show less
