Hi I'm Zach Darrington

I grew up in California and Utah. I'm Mormon. I enjoy snowboarding, playing football, and snowboarding. I love life.

About Me

I love to play football, snowboarding, and hanging out with friends. I am currently a Junior at Lone Peak high school. I enjoy playing video games and simply loving life.

Why I am a Mormon

Many people say that being a Mormon is very difficult and that we have way too many rules to follow in our life and that we are too confined in our religion. But if you ask me, I think that being a Mormon gives me peace of mind knowing that I am doing my best to return to my Father in Heaven.

How I live my faith

I enjoy my religion very much. I am a home teacher to two families, the LeComtes and the Sanders. I love these families very much. I am also the pianist during for priesthood opening exercises.

Why do Mormons perform baptisms for the dead?

Zach Darrington
It is to simply help those that did not get a chance to hear the gospel and to get baptized here on this earth, service to them if you will. We are just trying to help them out as best as we can while we are still here so that they will be able to become members of this gospel. Show more Show less

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Zach Darrington
Absolutely not. A big portion of our religion is serving others, just like Jesus did while he was on this earth. We are constantly trying to help others with whatever they may need, weather that be in natural disasters, hard times that a country may be going through, or maybe just ward members or neighbors that are needing a helping hand.
