Hi I'm Stacy

I grew up in the Midwest and I was baptized in the LDS Church in 2007.

About Me

I married my soul mate in 2007 and between us both we have 6 kids! I am a stay at home Mom/Wife to our 6 and 4 year old boys. I am living my dream as a crochet pattern designer and magazine editor for a digital crochet magazine!

Why I am a Mormon

I have never felt so right in any denomination. I searched diligently to be in a setting where I felt I fit in spiritually and my beliefs. A lot of the beliefs in the LDS Church was already what I felt was the path! So it was a no-brainer for me to join. I've been blessed since I converted in 2007 with a wonderful husband, children and an unwavering faith. I've prayed for more wisdom from others to teach me, and in December, I had a revelation that I need to dive in myself. If I want to learn more about the church, read the scriptures. Easy as that. As much as I enjoy my brother/sister visits from our ward, I don't need to wait on them to teach me, I can do that on my own. Thanks to the guidance of Heavenly Father for putting in my path all the tools I needed to be able to read and learn on my own.

How I live my faith

Unforatunately I do not attend our ward as often as I would like. Being legally blind and unable to drive has kept me from attending regularly. Although I was baptized in 2007, December 2013 was the turning point in my faith. I am taking it upon myself to absorb my whole spirit into the LDS faith. Reading scriptures daily, teaching my children and doing service work for family, neighbors or anyone I meet! Having complete faith I am where I am supposed to be.

What is faith?

Stacy
For me, having faith is trust in Heavenly Father. My great-grandmother always said "Those who worry, don't trust. Those who trust, don't worry." Completely letting go of having complete control and having faith you are on the path you are to be on. "Let Go, Let God". Show more Show less
