Hi I'm Nicole

I'm a student. I think I'm a princess. I'm a mom. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to the most wonderful man in the world and I have the most beautiful baby. I study biochemistry, and I want to be a professor at a university someday. It's hard having a baby and going to school, but when you love everything you do, it works out. I love cooking delicious food for my family, playing with my baby boy and just having fun with my family. There is music playing in my house all day long. I love telling little girls that they are princesses - especially because it's true! I want to own a little shop where any girl - no matter the age- can come and dress up like a princess and feel special.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because of the joy that the gospel of Jesus Christ brings to my life. It makes me happy to know that I can be with my family forever. It makes me happy to serve others around me and develop Christ-like charity. I know that God loves me - and that I truly am a princess because I am His daughter. Joy is brought by the spirit. When I pray to Heavenly Father, the spirit comes into my home and brings happiness. When I stop following what I believe, I am not happy. I'm a Mormon because I know that the principles this church teaches are true. The principle of eternal families is not just a nice thought or a romantic idea. It's true. The Book of Mormon is not just a book that makes me feel good. It's true. Resurrection is not just a hope that makes death easier to bear. It's a true principle.

How I live my faith

People think that to live your faith you must do something crazy significant. But just being the best person you can be is living your faith. I live my faith by serving my husband, teaching my son and being friends with people who need friends. Elder Neal A. Maxwell once asked: “When the real history of mankind is fully disclosed, will it feature the echoes of gunfire or the shaping sound of lullabies? The great armistices made by military men or the peacemaking of women in homes and in neighborhoods? Will what happened in cradles and kitchens prove to be more controlling than what happened in congresses?" The small acts of service are the most important ones. I strengthen my relationship with Christ so He can help me to know what I need to do to be better. By praying, studying the scriptures and going to church weekly, I come closer to my Heavenly Father.

What do Mormons believe about the Holy Ghost? Who is the Holy Ghost?

The Holy Ghost is a member of the Godhead. He is a separate being from Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. He testifies of Christ and is the one who communicates with us from Heavenly Father. He brings us feelings of comfort, guidance and knowledge. Show more Show less
