Hi I'm Mallary

Books, music, singing, laughter, my new husband, and sunshine fit together as pieces of my soul. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I love navigating this crazy, beautiful life with my new husband! I studied English in college because I simply can't get enough of the written word and hope to to work with books as a profession. Yoga keeps me happy and emotionally sane. I love singing at the top of my lungs, spending time with my family, watching movies, traveling, learning, shopping, shoes, makeup, and my day is seldom complete without a piece of chocolate. Life is wonderful and I can't wait to see what I'll learn next!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that I am a daughter of a Heavenly Father who loves me enough to provide a way to bring me back to him through Jesus Christ. I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church of a loving God. Because of that I am never alone. I am part of a worldwide church. No matter where I go the teachings are the same because this church is led by a true prophet of God. There's no other church I'd rather belong to. I have come to know the truthfulness of this gospel for myself. I know it. I live it. I love it.

How I live my faith

My faith is very important to me, and I don't like to imagine what life would be like if I couldn't depend on my faith in Jesus Christ every day. I try to be an example of him by showing kindness to the people around me and showing them that love still exists, that His love still exists. My faith builds as I read the words of the Book of Mormon each day for personal study and with my husband. I also serve with the Young Women my ward. Those girls amaze me with their strength and light. My husband and I love to attend church together as well as the temple where our faith is enriched together and individually. I've come to learn that faith is action, and I hope I show my faith by my actions.
