Hi I'm Kylee Terry

I am from Utah, I CrossFit, I love to go on adventures and be happy. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to play all kinds of sports, most specifically CrossFit. I also love to take pictures of beautiful things. I want to travel the world. I love to study and learn new things. I'm family- and friend-oriented. I'm always open to go on an adventure or try something new. I like to snowboard, read, shop, cook, bake, calligraphy, sew, poetry, music, and to make new friends. I am easy-going and love to help people.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe in God and Jesus Christ. I have chosen to follow them and do my best to be obedient in their counsels. I was baptized when I turned 8, but didn't attend church actively until I was thirteen years old. I had to work hard to gain a testimony of different gospel principles. I attended the EFY program when I was 14 and gained a very strong testimony of the influence of music and good influences/friends. Thanks to my counselor, my testimony was confirmed by singing the hymn "I Know That My Redeemer Lives". I have gained a firm belief in the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon by frequent study and prayer. I have a testimony of the temple and the peace I can feel while doing work for my Heavenly Fathers children. I have a testimony of His eternal atonement, which I am so thankful for. I know that He suffered for me and took upon him my weaknesses, sins, heartache, desires and many other afflictions. I know that I can live with my family for eternity through the eternal Plan of Happiness. I have chosen to follow Christ because He is my greatest friend, He knows me personally, He wants to bless me and test me, I know He loves me. I feel so much peace and comfort knowing that I am on Christ's side. I know that I am a member of this church because of constant revelation to Gods children, especially living prophets. I know that Joseph Smith was inspired and called of God to restore the perfect organization of the Church of Jesus Christ. I know that without the power of God, Joseph Smith would not have been able to accomplish so many things like chapels, the Book of Mormon, temples and a perfect organization.

How I live my faith

I love to attend my church meetings, especially the sacrament meetings, to learn more about the gospel of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and become closer to my brothers and sisters and Heavenly Father. I enjoy going to Family Home Evening with my roommates and friends in my Singles Ward. I love to serve in all sorts of assignments and callings when I am needed. Even so, I try to serve those around my by doing simple and kind acts. I read and study the Book of Mormon and cross reference the Bible- especially when I have concerns, struggles or questions. I am willing to share my beliefs and testimony with those have doubts or questions, or those who just want to share a moment talking about God.
