Hi I'm Trevor

I grew up on a farm in Idaho. I love sports. I just received my mission call to Quito Ecuador! I'm so blessed to be a Mormon."

About Me

The church has been really important in my life, Its one of the main things that made me who I am now. I have a big family and they are very important for me in my life, We do everything together. I love sports!!! I love to play and I love to watch, but time with my family and church comes first. I played tennis and basketball durring highschool, and every summer I worked on my family farm. As of now I am currently serving a mission in Ecuador. Its a big change for me, and it is hard for me to learn another langauge, but I know through our heavenly father, that anything is possible.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and as I grew up, I learned more and more, Like every member of the church, to know that it is true we need to pray about the church and ask our heavenly father, with the sincere desire to know that it is true, this is also true with the Book of Mormon. I also love going to church because its a house of god, and there we can be closer to him, Its pretty much impossible to not feel the presence of the holy ghost, the only real way that you couldnt feel good in the church is if you didnt want to. Its an amazing place. The other reason I am a Mormon is because we can live for ever with our familys even after life on earth. Familys are very important, and without my family, I dont know where I would be right now.

How I live my faith

Family and Church are always first before all of the other things I like to do.I am currently serving a mission for the period of 2 years, alot of people think that is along time. Well it is along time, but I have found when I consentrate on my mission, that time flys by, and this is a sacrifice that I am willing to make for my heavenly father, and for the people of Ecuador.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Trevor
The reason that we serve missions for 2 years is because we know that this church is the true church, and we have received many blessings from our heavenly father because of the Gospel and because of our faith in him. I really want to share this Gospel with everybody, because I know that it can change lives for the better not only durring our time on earth, but for our time after we die. Many people ask why we gave up 2 years of our lives to serve a mission. For me personally its because I feel indebted to my heavenly father and Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ gave his live for every single one us. Yeah 2 years is a lot but its nothing compared to what jesus christ did. Show more Show less
