Hi I'm Madeline

I am a missionary in slovakia, a student, a friend, and I am most importantly a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Missionary in Slovakia, I am the 2nd child of a family of 9 people, I love all i meet, I serve the lord in all the ways i can. Because i know that through all things are possible. I have loved life, but life always will have it's ups and downs. I just always remember that god sees the whole picture and though we don't understand at times what we are going through, god knows and he would not give us more than we could handle.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that this church is true, it has helped me through my life in so many ways. I love this church and the people in it. I have felt my heavenly father's love through out my life, through both good and bad times. I know that President Monson is a true Prophet of God and that he receives revelation from god and his son Jesus Christ. Hi, I am Madeline Russell, over the past few years nothing has been easy for me. I was juggling college (my culinary Degree), high school, my friends (what Friends), and interests all in my senior year of high school. I did not know how to do it and i struggled and as things got harder to juggle, I began to drop things i wish i hadn't. I lost focus in relationships to Friends, I felt no desire to try and present myself the best that i could be, and slowly a old habit of what my dad says is backwards pride came center. I felt down upon my self in all I did and say. Then I was at seminary one day when we had a lesson about molelits yes I mean the hair style. My teacher spoke to us about how every one has there molelits of pride, self doubt, anger, greed, or depression and how we need to leave our molelits at the door. I thought about that and then he said this "this does not only apply to this class room it applies to life". So my advise to all of you struggling to find a purpose or a worth leave your molelit at the door and focus on Christ and his pure love for us and our purpose.

How I live my faith

I am a music Co-chair for my ward, I am the choir conductor and lead the music in church. I have my women's medallion and honor bee.

What are Mormon women like? Do Mormons believe in equality of men and women?

Women may not hold the priesthood, but in the eyes of the church we are one of the most central part of the plan of salvation. We are Daughters of God, who loves us with all his heart. We are the Guardians of the home, we raise children, we nurture and are full of so much love. We alone can bear children. So we are Equal to men in every way possible. The women of the church know who they are and that they are loved and have a plan. This brings so much strength through hardship and trials. We also strive to share that love and show others that they too can feel this peace. Show more Show less
