Hi I'm Leah

I'm a daughter. I'm a college student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I spent the first 18 years of my life in a small town in Illinois with my small family consisting of me, my mom and my older brother. While my family faced many unexpected hardships, my mom always made sure that she did everything in her power to make us happy. I'm currently starting my senior year of college, seeking a degree in recreation management. I'm grateful to have found a major that I am passionate about! This is something I never thought I would find. I have been blessed with the opportunity to serve as a student leader for the past 3 years and it has an incredible experience. I've learned that the Lord will guide you into all kinds of uncomfortable situations, but if you patiently endure, he will uplift you through them as you trust in him. Happiness can be found in enduring through trials and coming out a more refined person.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I know that when I am living the gospel of Jesus Christ I am learning, growing, and beginning to reach my full potential. The gospel brings me happiness. I know that my Savior will always be there when I need him. He is reaching out to me, just waiting for me to call upon his name for support in all areas of my life. If I didn't have that support in my life, I honestly don't know how I could possibly survive through some of the trials that I have been dealt in this life. As I continue to follow His gospel, I am able to strengthen the lines of communication between me and the Savior; I gain a better understanding of the love that He has for me every single day.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by building and maintaining relationships with a Christ-like love. I love people. I love friendships, family members, relationships and opportunities to learn about the experiences of those around me. As I build trusting relationships with those around me, I seek to know how my Heavenly Father would have me uplift those who I come in contact with. I believe that through my experiences with others, I have gotten to see a glimpse of the idea of unconditional love. I want to strive to be more like my Savior in everything that I do. Everything the Savior does is motivated by love.

In whom should we have faith?
