Hi I'm Sarah

I never take myself too seriously. I am a wife, a mother and a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently adjusting to motherhood and loving the learning experience that it is. I come from a loving family where my siblings are my best friends and some of the greatest examples! We moved around a lot with my dads choice of career but with those relocations I was able to meet many people and make different friends along the way. For now my choice of career is to help my daughter grow into a woman she can be proud to be and I am so looking forward to seeing who that is! My husband and I love going out and enjoy attending sporting events together as we love the buzz of a good atmosphere.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been very blessed to be in a family who accepted the gospel message before I was even born. I was lucky enough to be taught how to recognise the feelings I experienced when the Holy Spirit testified of the truths that were being spoken about. As I grew older and made the decision to be baptised I knew and still know now that I am a daughter of a loving Heavenly Father. That knowledge has brought me more peace and comfort as I have faced challenges/trials that I never thought I could overcome on my own. I have studied and pondered scriptures that teach about Christ's church and how it was established when he was on the earth. I have found joy in reading scriptures that teach and instruct me on how to perfect myself and return back to Him. I am a Mormon because I have sincerely asked in prayer whether this church is true and received a witness that it is.

How I live my faith

I live my faith daily. I try to be an example to my neighbours through acts of service. I try to follow my saviours example so that I can help people to understand who they are and that God loves each of us as we are His children. I teach a youth Sunday school class in my ward and I set them challenges each week with every lesson and aim to complete the challenge with them as for me, you practise what you preach! I rely on prayer and the relationship I have with my father in heaven to guide me through life's course as I strive to live righteously and in a way that will ensure peace and comfort in a world that can seem so gloomy at times.
