Hi I'm Andrea

I'm from San Diego, California. I cant get enough of sports, and chocolate, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am from San Diego, California. I graduated college in exercise science. I want to find a cure to cancer. I love to watch and play sports. I want to travel the world with my camera. I can't go a day without listening to music. I'm obsessed with summer and everything outdoors. I've grown up Mormon. I love it, I live it, and I want to share it.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, and have been raised as a Mormon my whole life. Because of this, it has been my job to study, ask questions, and really dive deep into the gospel of Jesus Christ to find out, for myself, if it is true. After doing such, I know, without a shadow of a doubt, that this gospel is true. It has brought me incredible happiness that I cannot even begin to describe. My family means the world to me, and through my savior Jesus Christ, I know that I can be with them for all time and eternity. The gospel of Jesus Christ gives me the strength, courage and determination it takes to make it through life's challenges and struggles. There is nothing more comforting to me than knowing that I always have someone that has my back, someone that will walk with me through this life and that will love me no matter what. That person is Jesus Christ. Being a Mormon isn't always the easiest, but I know with all of my heart that it is worth it, and it is right.

How I live my faith

One way I live my faith is by loving, caring, and serving those around me. A smile, hug, and a simple hello can go a long way and can show those around us that we care about them. I have 5 wonderful roommates who I have the opportunity to love and serve as my family away from home. I have an amazing neighborhood of great friends who I get to organize a meeting every Sunday with, to talk about Jesus Christ and his gospel. I try to be a good friend to all around me. Everyone needs a good friend; someone to laugh with, talk with, and to hold them when things get rough. I live my faith by putting others needs before my own. I live my faith by loving.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Andrea
Yes, we believe that husbands, wives, and families can be together forever. Families can be together forever through sacred ordinances performed in holy temples. It is one of the most comforting and amazing blessings, that as a member of this church, I can be with my family for eternity. Because of these sacred temple ordinances, the sadness and grief I've felt at the loss of my grandfather, other family members and friends has become feasible with the knowledge that I will see them again.
