Hi I'm Ashley Balmforth

I grew up in Idaho. I love life and adventure. I am still figuring life out. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I recently graduated from BYU-Idaho. I am passionate about humanitarian work and am excited to start a career in International Health. I grew up in a small farming town. I am the youngest of 9. Life has always been an adventure. I love the outdoors. I love to learn new things. I like to play sports. Sometimes I am a bookworm and I love to doodle. Dancing, singing, and laughing are always great.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been Mormon. I have always known the gospel is true. I love the Book of Mormon. I love the temple. It is my most favorite place on Earth. I know that when I pray, my loving Father in Heaven answers my prayers. I know that the Book of Mormon is true. Each time I read it I learn something new and have a greater desire to live the gospel. My family isn't perfect but I am so grateful that I was blessed with this life. I know life isn't easy at times but the blessings of being a member of The Church of Latter-day Saints make every trial worth it. I have such a testimony of covenants. Service is a great way to show love to everyone I come in contact with. I know that families are forever. I know that developing a relationship with Heavenly Father is so important and that no matter what trial I may go through he is there with me every step of the way. This life is meant to test each and everyone of us and to stretch us. I know we all have the opportunity to grow and to become like our Father and Christ. The atonement is a blessing and applies to every aspect of my life. I honestly don't know where I would be or who I would be with out the gospel. I am so grateful to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I have such a love for the gospel. I love to serve. There is always an opportunity to serve. I have gained such a testimony of charity and service through others I have been blessed to be served by. I learn so much everyday from those who strive to live the gospel. Everyday I try to have a greater desire to be a disciple of Christ and to have desire to grow in the gospel by serving those around me even if I don't know them.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

Ashley Balmforth
We can increase our faith in Jesus Christ by living the gospel. By living and keeping our covenants. Faith is an action and one that we need to use everyday. Our faith is also increased by our constant desire to move to Christ. To be a disciple of Christ and to serve those around us. Show more Show less
