Hi I'm Brittney Andersen

I grew up in California. I'm a hairstylist, a BYU-I student, a missionary in the New York Rochester mission and I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am 22 years old and I am majoring in Marriage and Family Studies at Brigham Young University-Idaho. I love to read, play the piano, and spend time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been blessed to have been a Mormon for all of my life. I know that this gospel is true. I know that God has a plan for each and every one of us. It is called the plan of Happiness. In this plan, we chose to come to Earth to learn and grow. God sent His son to teach us how to return to Him. Christ died so that we can repent of our sins. He suffered in Gethsemane so that we can be comforted. Because of the Atonement of Jesus Christ, we can live with our Heavenly Father and our family for eternity. I am a Mormon because of the Plan of Happiness. This is a gospel of peace and joy. It is the gospel of love and forgiveness. I am a Mormon because without this gospel, I know I would not be as happy as I am today.

How I live my faith

I love to make people happy. I try to always acknowledge the positive qualities in each individual I come in contact with. We are all children of God and I keep that in mind when I interact with others.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Brittney Andersen
No, Mormons help all those who are in need. We are all God's children. We do not exclude anyone from service. In fact, the Mormon Church has donated millions of dollars to different countries in need of humanitarian aid. Show more Show less
