Hi I'm Adam

I grew up in Sweden. I love to play guitar and basketball, not at the same time though. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've played guitar in a alternative-rock band called Like Torches. We've toured throughout Europe and Japan. We recorded our album Keep Your Head High with Ryan Key and Ryan Mendez from the American rock band Yellowcard in Los Angeles. I used to play basketball very much. My team and I won the Swedish championship for boys under 17 some years ago. I root for the Boston Celtics. I have much love for this team, I wear their shirts and snapbacks when I can.

Why I am a Mormon

I love Jesus Christ. I can feel joy in my life when I try to follow His example. This motivates me even more to try harder to become a better person, son, brother, friend, employee, the list goes on. But the reason why I have chosen to become a member of this church is because I've felt the Spirit confirming that it is true on so many occasions that it would be stupid for me to deny it, cause I know it is true. To be a Mormon requires a lot of commitment and patience. But do I realize that I will always be in debt to my Heavenly Father because when I do something that He wants me to do He blesses me every time with so much more than I ever could've imagined. Try it!

How I live my faith

I have the privilege to participate in the activities with the amazing people in my age 18-30. We have activities when we just hang out, eat, watch a movie or something. And sometimes we do other activities when we help others in the community. My favorite activity was when we went to a retirement home (don't know this word in english, but a home for old people) and took out all the old and great people for a walk. It was so much fun to have this opportunity to get to know these people and make their day.
