Hi I'm Brenda Burgess

I'm Puerto Rican,I grew up in Nevada,& have two sons, I have 6 grand kids and 8 greatgrand kids and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like to read fiction books. I love to ride horses, and spending time with my family! I retired from nursing and since then I have worked in several different fields including retail, cashier, and being a full time Mom and Grandmother. I have travelled and lived in 3 different states. I would love to visit Spain or Italy!

Why I am a Mormon

When I was 24 years old I met the missionaries from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and started to read the Book of Mormon. As I studied it more and prayed I gained a testimony of the book and the truthfulness of it by a spiritual witness. I knew that this church was true and it answered all the questions I had from the past. The more I learn and study the scriptures the more my testimony of the truthfulness of this gospel grows. If I didn't have this gospel in my life then I would not have been able to make it through some of my life's greatest challenges. Without all of God's love, and understanding, and mercy I could not have made it as far as I have. I wouldn't give up knowing what I know about the gospel for anything in this world!

How I live my faith

In my church I have served as a missionary for my congregation and worked with the young children in nursery. I love working on family history and genealogy! I like to volunteer in our Church's temple building in Orlando, FL. I love helping others come back to their faith.
