Hi I'm Daniel T.

I grew up in Saskatchewan Canada. Raised on a farm. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up on an acreage in saskatchewan. my childhood was spent playing outside exploring the old farm buildings. In my teens i played rugby, and continue my hobby of building small scale models. I am going to serve a mission in ukraine.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a member family, however my own conversion was something i had to gain on my own. In my early teens i had my struggles and doubts, and decided to seek out my own knowledge of the truthfulness of this gospel. through prayer and study of the gospel i came to a sure knowledge that it was true. since then i've continued to have trails and struggles, but my testimony of this gospel has remained strong and helped me through lifes trails.

How I live my faith

As a youth i helped to be a leader amidst other youth my age. I've served as a ward missionary helping to get to know and become friends with new members. I am now going to serve the Church by serving a mission in Ukraine.

Why do Mormons perform baptisms for the dead?

Daniel T.
We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to hear this gospel and have the opportunity to accept or decline it. while some churches believe that those who did not receive baptism in life are without hope. we know that God is just, and provides an opportunity for those who were never offered the gospel in there life to receive it after death. We baptize as proxy for the dead to provide those who have died without the gospel to receive it and accept the baptism done for them. Show more Show less
