Hi I'm Austin Celaya

I grew up in the sunny coast of southern California. I play basketball and I am a musician. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up outside of Los Angeles in the sunny hills and shores of southern california. I've played basketball all my life and I enjoy all athletic activities. Music has played a huge role in my life and I find joy in producing, composing, rapping, singing, and performing my sounds. I'm serving my mission in the New York, New York North, Spanish Speaking mission. I am excited to serve the people of NY! My free time is spent at the beach, playing a game of pick up basketball with my buddies, or coming together with my friends and listening and creating music. I simply just love life.

Why I am a Mormon

I have searched for truth all my life. I have been to almost every main religion. I have studied philosophy and ideology and every theory I could find to see if The Creators truth was on the earth today. Logically, I am always led back to The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints. I simply know it is God's truth on the earth today because I have felt it with my whole being by the power of the Holy Spirit and I have seen the happiness it brings me when I put the Christ-like principles and examples into action. It allows me to question everything. Doubt is the catalyst to finding truth, and every time I doubt, I am logically and spiritually led back to The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints as our Creators truth for man on the earth today. If it's truly the truth, you can doubt all you want, but will always be led back to the truth. This is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Heavenly Father is my best friend. He is the one being I can always go to in prayer when I am troubled and when I am happy, because he will always understand me more than anyone or anything. My knowledge, faith, and personal relationships with my Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ are the foundation to everything I do. Without them, I would be completely lost, but instead, I wake up everyday knowing that everything that happens today, good or bad, is for a reason. Nothing in life happens to me, it happens for me. All of our lives our divinely orchestrated. Knowing this, I try every day to become more like Christ and obtain and practice the fundamental, yet heavenly qualities he possessed. I hope now until the end of my mortal time on this earth, I can spend every minute of it becoming more like Christ by following his example. He was happy and he was perfect. Who doesn't want to grow to become both of those things? I know I sure do! When fear knocks, let faith answer the door. This is why I am serving a mission. I have felt what it's like to be unhappy. I now feel what it's like to be truly happy everyday and I want to share that opportunity for others to feel the same.
