Hi I'm Jake

I love traveling. I love anything that has to do with nature. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Before my Mission I Cliff Jumped, Skied, road motorcycles, camped, rock climbed, went boating with my family and friends and just about every other thing that has to do with nature and travel. The one goal I have yet to achieve is go sky diving! Of course I also hope to go to school, graduate and have a good job, and eventually support a family of my own.

Why I am a Mormon

Like many others I was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I never truly believed in the church until I took that challenge of praying to God to find out for my self if it really is the true church of Jesus Christ. I received an answer. I felt something that is so significant and so special that I could never begin to describe it. The best way to describe it in English is a feeling of peace and comfort. A feeling of love and understanding. Because I received an answer I gave up all the things that I loved such as camping, and extreme sports, so I can serve the Lord full-time and try my hardest to repay him for his answer to me. Although I am doing the Lords work full-time, I know I will never repay him for all he has done for me.

How I live my faith

As a Missionary one hundred percent of my time is dedicated to serving the Lord. I wake up at six, thirty everyday, and serve the Lord until ten, thirty at night when I retire to bed. Although my schedule is very repetitious, and I am constantly tired, I love what I do. I love my life. I love my calling, and I love this work.
