Hi I'm Dana

I grew up in Mexico, currently I'm studying at a university in United States. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Mexico but I decided to study abroad in order to expand my knowledge and learn to be self-sufficient. Currently I'm completing the prerequisites for the Finance program at the university, though I'm considering on changing my major. It hasn't been an easy challenge; nevertheless, I always try to do my best in every possible way. I absolutely LOVE everything related with FINE ARTS, RESTAURANTS and SOCCER!! But none of that would be complete without my family and friends, I love them above all things, they are the motor that keeps pushing me forward, and I love spending time with them.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were members of the church when I was born and because of it I grew up in the church. Nevertheless, while growing up I faced many doubts whether the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints was true or not. I knew that the only way to find out was by asking in prayer to my Heavenly Father. I was amazed to see how He was aware of me when my prayer was answered; it was a calm feeling of comfort, peace, and love that I had never felt before. I know that our Heavenly Father loves each and everyone of his sons and daughters so much that has created a plan for us to be happy and understand the real meaning of living on Earth. I’ve been a witness of how understanding that plan can help us to be at peace when a loved one dies. I know that the Atonement of Jesus Christ is a blessing for everyone, and because of it we can return to our Heavenly Father. I known that Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father loves me, loves you, and every single human being.

How I live my faith

I have always thought that being a good example to others is the best way to live my faith. Moreover I believe that loving everyone around me is the best way in which I can say that I try to follow Christ’s example. Since I was 12 years old, my ecclesiastical leaders gave me responsibilities in the congregation, especially to look after girls with the same age range as I was. Another way I decided to live my faith is by choosing to serve a full time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints, I chose to do so because I want to help people to remember that they have a Heavenly Father that loves them. In other words, I live my faith by trying to be a good example for others, caring about those around me, and by loving our Heavenly Father while serving others.
