Hi I'm Kyle

I'm from Oklahoma, I'm excited for life, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I grew up in a small town in Oklahoma in a big family. I served a mission in the CA San Jose Mission. I enjoy music, especially live, and exercising. I'm currently a student at BYU-Idaho. Soon I will marry the most amazing woman and begin the most exciting chapter of my life.

Why I am a Mormon

Before I served a mission I didn't have my own reasons for being a Mormon other than it was how I was raised. What I hadn't realized, though, was that I had been prepared from my youth by loving parents, bishops, scout leaders, and mentors to make the decision to not only believe in the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ, but to live it. I have seen the miracles and blessings the Lord gives to those who sincerely seek Him. I have seen things fall perfectly into place when I am keeping the commandments and leading a righteous life. I am a Mormon because I am imperfect and the Gospel of Jesus Christ provides all people with the resources and divine assistance that they need to reach their true potential and live life to its fullest through the Atonement of Jesus Christ. I am a Mormon because I have read the Book of Mormon and the Bible, I have asked my Father if it is His truth, I have tested the claims, I have received a conformation through the Holy Spirit that it is the path that He would have me take, and I continue to receive conformation as strive to live a Christ-like life.

How I live my faith

Where I'm from in Oklahoma there are very few members of the Mormons, so I learned from a very young age that I would stand out. People would be watching me seeing how I acted and how I lived my life. My parents re-enforced this in my mind and, with the help a close knit congregation, I was given the tools I needed to withstand temptation, but more importantly, show a loving example to those around me. From the experience I have had in my youth up until this point in my life, I have made my religion my lifestyle. It is not something I only do once a week, but a constant effort to truly be a Latter-day Saint.
