Hi I'm Marrinda Schofield

I grew up in Washington state. I'm a junior in high school, and I love music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I play the oboe and the piano. I'm a drum major for marching band. I attend seminary every school day. I am a sister, daughter, and aunt.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, but I wasn't converted until this last year. I struggled with my faith and wasn't sure what I believed. I had a lot of questions that didn't have answers. As I saw my brother get married in the temple, and also my cousin and her husband, I realized I wanted that too. The event that changed me the most was the youth Trek, which was a reenactment of the Pioneer Trek. I now know that my Heavenly Father loves each of us individually. We are his children and he wants to bless us. I know that this is the one and only true church, and that it has blessings for each one of us. I know the Book of Mormon is the word of God, and that Joseph Smith translated it. I also know that there is prophet called by God that is on the earth today. I love the gospel, and I love the Lord.

How I live my faith

I play the piano for youth activities. I have had leadership positions in the youth program. I participate in band, marching band, pep band, pit orchestra, and other musical groups.
