Hi I'm Teddy

I'm from Madera, California. I'm currently serving a mission in Fort Collins Colorado. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently serving a mission for 18 months Colorado. I went to Mexico for 6 weeks to study Spanish for my mission and that was the first time I've been out of the country. I have been to 29 out the 50 states in the U.S. and hope to be able to visit every state in a cross-country expedition one day. I have gotten 83 stitches in my lifetime and they were all from the same event. Luckily, the damage was minimal and I'm all cured now:) I love chocolate, especially chocolate cake! I love Disney movies and I love my family and I just love life:) I like playing sports, specifically tennis and basketball, although I am not very flawless at it. I also like to read and jump on trampolines.:)

Why I am a Mormon

I was fortunate enough to have strong and faithful parents who raised their children in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints(a.k.a the Mormon Church). I have been familiar with the teachings of the church my whole life and in those years I have had the opportunity to apply those teachings in my own life and countenance. My testimony that this is the true gospel of Christ did not come to me in one night. It was over the course of many years of learning and testing and trusting and praying and reading and studying that I gained the testimony that it is true and it is good. This knowledge is only strengthened as I continue my study of Christ's teachings in the Book of Mormon and the Bible. I love this church because it brings peace and joy to all who seek after such things and there is no better place to find peace and joy than in the true church of, and established by, Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

In my church I do a lot with the women in giving service and just visiting with one another and supporting one another. I have had the chance to teach gospel lessons to our womens' group and I have also had opportunities to help direct and manage big service projects such as harvesting grapes to dry into raisins so that they might be distributed throughout the world to people who are in need.
