Hi I'm Dan Holley

I'm from Utah, I Love Rap music, I make YouTube videos with my friends, sprint for my high school track team. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Despite 4 major knee dislocations and a fractured hip, I love playing all types of sports and compete in many sprinting events for the Fremont High School track team. I absolutely love running! It's my favorite thing to do! My friends and I enjoy making humorous movies for YouTube, a few of which have been used on the BBC. I'm a diehard Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan, and sports junky in general. I enjoy video games. I love rap music. Weezy all day everyday! I love going on random and epic adventures all the time! I love laughing a lot. And most of all I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. When I return home from my mission I'm deciding on whether to pursue a career in movie making or something that has to do with physical fitness like an orthopedic surgeon or athletic director. Very far apart but hey I've got 2 years to think it over!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because of the great and many miracles and blessings my Father in Heaven has blessed me with. The peace the gospel brings into my life is far more powerful and legitimate than anything the world could ever offer. Nothing comes close to comparing to the feeling of peace and love that Christ offers. Also, with each major injury I've done to my knees, I've always stunned doctors with recovery times and have never torn a ligament or muscle in what should have been season ending or even career ending injuries. I know I'm being watched over by my Heavenly Father. Also, in times of great trial I've been comforted with the needed blessings to power through trials that have come my way. I see miracles performed through the Lord everyday. Just by looking at the things around me; all the people, the animals, the environment, everything, it all so strongly testifies to me that their is a Father in Heaven that cares and loves each one of us. I know God lives, I know His Beloved Son Jesus Christ lives and I know that through a prophet called of by God, Christ's very church is on the earth today. Wanna know how you can know all this cool stuff too?? Read and pray about the Book of Mormon! And I promise you God will tell you all things!

How I live my faith

In the small town where I live in there aren't that many youth. However, all the kids in my ward get along exceptionally well and have done countless service projects to the many elderly residents and others in need. I try my best to involve all the kids in my ward to feel welcome while building a strong friendship with all of them. Despite being the only 17 year old in my church ward and the rest of the youth being younger than me, we got along like the best of friends. They taught me more than I would have ever imagined. And in turn we learned how to be better followers of Christ. I am currently serving a mission for my church in Louisville Kentucky and sharing the gospel to those who stand in need of Christ's beautiful Atonement in their lives. It's amazing. I honestly wouldn't trade this experience for anything! It's changing my life for the better!

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

Dan Holley
Everything around me is perfect evidence there is a loving Heavenly Father. Just by looking around and seeing all the beautiful, rich vegetation, the unique different animals, and of course God's greatest creation, people. Just as the prophet Alma stated "All things denote there is a God; yea, even the earth...witness that there is a Supreme Creator." (Alma 30:44). Everyone and everything around couldn't possibly have been a coincidence as a result from a "big bang" it had to have come from a Loving Heavenly Father who created us in His own image and gave us this earth to learn and grow from. All things denote there is a God. And for that reason alone, when you feel alone you're really not, you have a loving Father in Heaven who personally created you and knows you by name. You're never alone. God is there. Show more Show less
