Hi I'm Mare

I grew up in North Carolina. I have a passion for riding horses, reading and spending time with my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 44 years old and have been married for over 21 years. We have two children, a boy who is 18 and a girl who is 16. My family is more precious to me than words can say. I love all animals but especially horses. I love to travel. I've been to several countries in Europe and loved all of them. Especially Italy! I love life and find joy in the small and simple things.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know it is what the Lord wants me to be. By that I mean that I have had experience after experience after experience that have spoken to my mind, heart and soul that this is where I'm supposed to be. There is no witness more pure and real then that from the Holy Ghost testifying to you that something is true. What I've learned as a Mormon makes complete sense not just to my ears, but to my spirit. I know I've heard these things before. We were all taught these things before. Being a Mormon answers my questions, calms my fears, comforts my soul, gives me true joy and happiness. It paves the way for my life and reassures me that I'm on the right path.

How I live my faith

My faith is my life. I'm nothing without it. I love my Heavenly Father and my Savior with all my soul. My greatest desire and my greatest joy is living my life according to the Lord's will. It may sound extreme to some people but it's the truth. I can't imagine my life without the guidance of His Holy Spirit. I have been blessed with the knowledge of where I came from, why I'm here and where I want to go. It doesn't mean I don't enjoy many of the things that this world has to offer, it just means I choose to steer clear of those things that could jeopardize my faith.
