Hi I'm Michael Coleman

I grew up in the fantastic weather of southern Utah, I live now in the small streets of Taiwan, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently 19 years old, and I love Taiwan! I am here serving a two year mission for the church. I love any physical activity, as long as it involves multiple people and some competition. I plan on going to Brigham Young University when I return from my mission, and my life goal is to have an epic LDS family!

Why I am a Mormon

I was challenged to read the Book of Mormon over the summer. I faced that challenge, and when I finished, I knelt down in my room by myself. I prayed to the Lord to ask if the book was true, and if the Gospel was true. Now, I had grown up with the Gospel in my life, so when I prayed to the Lord, strong thoughts came to my mind, saying "you know it is true. I don't need to tell you again." The Spirit was so strong, and ever since then I have dedicated my life to His work and to help others come to the knowledge and peace that I have felt. I have had many struggles throughout my life with divorced parents, medical problems, etc. I have needed to mature quickly, and I have finally figured it all out. This work is greater than me, my needs, and my comfort. The Lord has given me struggles because He needs me to become the man I need to be so that I can help continue His work.

How I live my faith

Daily prayer and scripture study is essential to living my faith! I have found many times where I have come to a crossroads, or I need direction on what to do, and I have found my answer in the scriptures or through prayer or through both. I have seen many amazing things with the power of prayer! Another way i live my faith is just by keeping my thoughts centered and Christ, and always remembering to call upon in in any situation.
