Hi I'm Mason Shepherd

I love playing football and weight lifting. I plan to serve 2 years in Arizona as a missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Mason. I am the oldest of three. I have two sisters. I have grown up in a small town that is close knit and very supportive of each other. I enjoy sports, especially football and weightlifting. I also enjoy reading and spending time with friends and family. I have been lucky enough to live next door to my grandparents, which has been awesome! I will be serving a mission in Arizona from summer 2014 to summer 2016. I plan on attending college when I return and play football at the University.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love what the church stands for. I like how service oriented the church is and how involved in the community we are. Families are a priority in the church and I know that I can be with my family for eternity. I have a relationship with my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ through scripture study and prayer. I know that my Heaven Father loves each of us because we are his children. He can bring us peace in adversity and comfort in our trials. Being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is a blessing in the life of my family. We stand strong together and can lift one another at all times.

How I live my faith

I am an Eagle Scout and have done many hours of community service through scouts and church youth group. I attended four years of religious classes during high school. I have been preparing for a mission by continuing to study the gospel and sharing that knowledge with my friends. I have grown up in a community where everybody knows who you are, so it is important to me to be an example of what I believe and live in such a way that others know what my standards are.
