Hi I'm Britttani Vandertoolen

I grew up in South Jordan Utah. I am attenting school at UVU. I am going to be serving a mission in New York South.

About Me

I am 20 years old and I love to talk!! My dad use to tell me I just need to think someone is listening to me and I can talk for hours! :) I love to dance, I have danced for about 15 years and I love it. I do Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop and Lyrical. My all time favorite would probably have to be ballet and doing pointe! I come from a family of all brothers who wrestle and I got very involved in my brothers wrestling and support them in ever aspect of their lives as I can. I am a certified nursing assistant and work as a home health and hospice aide and I love it, it takes a special person to be able to do that kind of work and I feel very privileged to be given the opportunity to help those that can't help themselves!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church but never had a testimony of the gospel until i was about 19 years old. My parents rule was always, "If you live in our house, you go to church" I went to church every Sunday and I felt like understood the gospel and its teaching but I was a teenager, I wanted to go out and have fun not sit at church and I never felt like my life was better because i went to church, until I turned 19 and i left everything i knew and had at home and I went to New York for 18 months and while I was in New York, my eyes eyes were really opened and I soon realized that the gospel was what brought me happiness, peace and direction. My idea of happiness and what I thought would bring me happiness never brought me as much joy as the gospel did and i soon realized only through the gospel can you find that true and everlasting happiness! I continue to live my faith everyday not because I have to anymore, its because I want to.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday as I pray, read my scriptures and live the doctrine of Christ. I teach the sunbeams class in primary which is a bunch of 3 year old's and i absolutely adore them. I have the privileged of going and visiting certain sisters in my ward with my mom and help them in anyway that we can.
