Hi I'm Latoya K. Yadav

I'm a happy Mormon! I love the Lord with all my being and I'm grateful for the Gospel and the ways it's changed my life!

About Me

I am a recent convert. I am currently in college for a Bachelor's in English. In my spare time I LOVE to read, and get in touch with family and friends I hadn't spoken to in awhile. I love long walks and bike ride and I absolutely enjoy a nice conversation with those who are like-minded. I am married and currently do not have children, but I do enjoy helping parents with their children and spending quality time with them.

Why I am a Mormon

I have converted to the Church because I wanted to be apart of a place that loved me and cared about my well-being. Out of the years of being raised in a Southern Baptist Church, I have never felt so much love and compassion for a person like me who I thought could never have that type of care from others. I already had a familiarity about the Church in the 7th grade because of a young friend named Hannah. She gave me first Book of Mormon. Years later, I am so grateful that I was able to meet a beautiful set of Missionaries. They have touched my heart and I am so grateful for that fateful day. There is no better reason be a Mormon... They're the Happiest Folks on Earth!!!

How I live my faith

I do my best to try and stay in contact with members and those who are not familiar with the Church. I live my faith by doing my best to go with the Missionaries to share the Gospel with others and to go to less active members' homes. I do enjoy singing hymns and spending quality time with other ladies about the Gospel and bearing our testimonies to strengthen one another.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Latoya K. Yadav
The Church is truly a loving and kind church. We need only help each other, but also those who are not of our belief. The Mormon Church has donated more than $1 billion in cash and material assistance to 167 different countries in need of humanitarian aid since it started keeping track in 1985. Many of these countries have few to no Mormons, but are also non-Christian. More than 53,000 Mormon missionaries serve through the world today. All of their service is to help those who are not Mormon. The founder of the church has taught that we're "to feed the hungry, to clothe the naked, to provide for the widow, to dry up the tear of the orphan, to comfort the afflicted, whether in this church, or in any other, or in no church at all." Now isn't that like Christ? Show more Show less
