Hi I'm Perry

I grew up in Little Rock Arkansas. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I had a hard time in school but later went on to graduate from college and enjoy a profession working in International Agriculture. I work in Quality Management and have been the US Representative to the OECD making rules for the international shipping of certified seed.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a Mormon brings so much meaning to my life. I understand who I am, that God and Jesus Christ love me. I understand how death is part of God's plan and that I will see my parents again! I came to know that this church's teachings were true just before I turned 19 and was living in California. I have tried the rest of my life, to leave its teachings to the best of my ability to shine a light to Christ. I hope you will prayerfully ask God if you should learn more about the Mormon Church.

How I live my faith

I love to help others and teach gardening, work with the youth in Boy Scouts, and other youth programs. I like to help others who may be struggling with school or finding direction in their lives. My parents passed away when I was younger and I often found myself looking for good role models so I hope I can be one for others.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Perry
Although going on a mission in the church is often part of a strong tradition, we encourage everyone to pray to find out if the individual should go. I was the first one in my family to serve a mission. I learned many skills that would help me succeed in life. I went because I asked God if this church was true and if I should go on a mission. I know that God hears and answer prayers and that is why I served. I know that every aspect of my life was blessed for going on a mission. Show more Show less
