Hi I'm Tanner

I'm married with four children, I'm a sports enthusiast and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm happily married with four wonderful children and a great family. I love spending time with them, I love making them laugh and having them make me laugh in return. I absolutely love sports and the outdoors, and one of my passions is officiating basketball. I've been a basketball official for almost 15 years, refereeing at the local, national, and international level. I love to travel and have been fortunate to see many amazing things that the world has to offer.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon, first and foremost, because my parents are Mormon and I was born into the faith. Second to that, I studied and prayed and received my own personal conviction that this is the Lord's church and that through the prophet Joseph Smith, the Lord restored the fulness of His gospel and His priesthood authority to the Earth. I have read and prayed about the Book of Mormon and know of its truthfulness. I set aside 2 years of my life to serve a full-time mission for the Lord, which strengthened my testimony and my faith, and I was a witness to many miracles in the lives of others and myself. I'm a Mormon because I know that there is a prophet on the Earth, called by the Lord to give us guidance and direction as we face the challenges of life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending my meetings each Sunday and by trying to live my religion during the week. I try my best to ensure that our family has a weekly family night where we play games, sing songs, and discuss gospel topics that will make us better people and a better family. We pray together each morning and night, and I take the time each day to speak to my Heavenly Father in prayer at the start and end of my day. I also try my best to read from the Scriptures daily and put those words into practice. I also live my faith by giving service to those around me when needed, and by monthly visits to those that I care about and am called to look after.
