Hi I'm Sacia

I am an actor, a baker, a musician and a hiker. I am a learner, a friend, a sister and a travel addict. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of 4 and I love my family more than anything. My two sisters are my best friends and my partners in crime, my brother is a rascal and my parents are wonderful examples. They are the world to me! I love reading and learning. I am a graduate of the International Baccalaureate program and I received my Bachelor’s degrees in Theatre Arts and Criminology and minored in Psychology. My friends make fun of me because I miss going to classes while most of them are looking forward to the day they graduate and no longer have to answer to professors. Hopefully one day soon I’ll figure what I want to receive my Master’s degree in so I can jump back in. I love anything involving theatre and film, behind the scenes and in front of the camera. I have worked on university stage productions as well as small independent films. It would be a dream to work in the film industry and I would love to find some way to make an impact on the lives of youth through my love for acting. I am addicted to travelling and love exploring new locations near and far. I especially love exploring nature, hiking, and learning about local history. A couple of years ago I got my scuba diving certification and while I’ve not been able to put it to good use yet, I look forward to the day when I can! Heavenly Father has given us such an amazing world and I would love to explore everything that it has to offer!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into and raised in the Church, but as I've grown up and taken the opportunity to study and learn, I've come to know of the love that Christ has for each one of us and the love that our Father in Heaven has for each one of His children. I know that we are all children of our Heavenly Father and that He has a special plan for each of us. I have felt His presence in my life and I feel truly blessed to have a relationship with Him. I know that He listens to and answers prayers, that He is there to guide us through our trials and carry us when we think we can go no further. I know that my Savior lives, that He knows me and loves me. I know that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ. I know that Joseph Smith was called of God to restore His church on the earth and I am thankful for his strength and example. I know that we have a living prophet on the earth today, Thomas S. Monson, and that through him our Heavenly Father continues to speak to His children here on the earth. The Gospel of Jesus Christ has been a beacon of love and hope in my life and I pray that I can share that love and hope with others.

How I live my faith

I am going to serve a full time mission in Colorado Denver South Mission where I know that I will meet many people and have the opportunity to share with them the love that our Father in Heaven and our Savior have for them. I love service and working with people in the community, it is through service that we truly come to love our neighbors.
