Hi I'm Hanna

I grew up in Minnesota. I like to go on adventures. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Sometimes I don't consider myself to be that interesting, but this is me. I started playing piano when I was 14 years old and it has been one of the best stress relievers. I like to watch movies, go hiking, play volleyball and tennis, and eat ice cream. Also, I love having a bucket list and crossing things off that I have accomplished. In the fall of 2012, I volunteered for the International Language Program where I had the opportunity to spend four months in Kiev, Ukraine teaching English to children. Honestly, this has been a defining moment in my life. I have grown so much more as an individual both socially and spiritually.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents converted to the church when they were married and already had four kids. I was the first one to be born in the covenant. I am so grateful for my parents willingness to be open to a different way of living. My immediate family are the only members of our extended family who are members of the church. A few of my siblings are inactive. I am a Mormon because of how I feel when I read the scriptures, attend church, pray, and serve others. I feel comfortable and happy living the gospel. The gospel has helped me get through many trials whether they seemed big or small. I am not perfect, but the gospel helps be become a better individual, a better friend, a better supporter, and a better disciple of Christ.

How I live my faith

I attend church meetings every Sunday. I have come to realize that I go to church for myself, not because others want me to go. I love feeling like I belong. I love learning about my purpose here on earth, how I can overcome trials, and how much the Lord loves each one of us. I try to be an example every day by being modest through dress, speech, and behaviors. I want others to be able to feel comfortable around me.
