Hi I'm Bryant

I'm a 15-year-old basketball player who dreams of playing in the NBA. And I'm a mormon.

About Me

I like to play basketball, at the local church and at school. I was born into the church and baptized at 8-years-old. Both my mother and father are active in the church and I have a brother and two sisters, both of whom are in Utah attending college. I also love to play lacrosse and am a huge fan of nascar.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into it, and from very little I've wanted to go on a mission because I was influenced by the example of my cousin. His desire to serve has influenced me to have that desire. My favorite scripture is 1 Nephi 4:6, from the Book of Mormon. "I was led by the Spirit, not knowing beforehand the things that I should do". It's my favorite because I have applied it many times in my life where I didn't know what I should do, but the Spirit led me to make the right choice. I know the church is true and that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I know that Joseph Smith is a prophet of God and that God the Father and Jesus Christ appeared to him. I say that in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

How I live my faith

I try to pray everyday and read my scriptures as often as I can. I try to read Preach My Gospel, which is a study guide for the missionaries of the church. I plan on serving a mission for the church when I am 18-years-old. Another part of living my faith is going to church every week and listening to the speakers there that teach from the scriptures. I try to share the gospel with people I come into contact with, such as fellow friends and even my school teachers.
