Hi I'm Scott Shawcroft

I grew up in Colorado on a ranching operation, I play the drums, I sing, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a missionary of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints serving in South Carolina. Before my mission though I worked in a rustic furniture shop where i built chairs, beds, tables, dressers, ect. I also worked on my family's ranching operation where i had the opportunity to work with many cows and tractors, and that is where I learned to be patient. I love living my life, I love the fact that every day for the next two years I am fully devoted to serving God. Nothing could bring me more happiness, because i bring happiness to others through Him. I love being a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because through diligence, prayer, and many hours of study i have come to know that the Church of Jesus Christ, of Latter day Saints is the one absolutely true church, with the restored authority of God. I was raised in the church yes, but I did not always believe. In fact it was not until I was about 16 that I decided that I needed to know the truth of it all. I prayed, and for the first time in a long time it was actually sincere. I received my answer from God, and that is why I am a Latter-day Saint.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by experimenting on the words of Christ. I read my scriptures (Bible,Book of Mormon) everyday, and everyday I pray about the things that I read. That is the only true way to know the truth of all things, that is, to ask the source of all things, God. God knows all, and if we ask with sincerity He will give us an answer. I am a Missionary, and i love it!
