Hi I'm Megan

I grew up in Southern Alberta. I am a mother of 3, love everything photography and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've been married for 15 years to a wonderful man and father. My husband is my hero, he works countless hours on our behalf as a partner in a local accounting firm in the city, we are so very blessed to have him in our lives. We have 3 beautiful children and crazy dog that loves to get into the garbage. I love all things photography and love to run. I've run countless half marathons/ 5/10k's, adventure races, and 3 full marathons in recent years and I must say that exercise is a big part of my life. When my oldest was little he used to run around in circles in the front yard, when I asked him what he was doing he'd say just training for a marathon. I can say that my love of running has rubbed off on my children and they all seem to want to pound the pavement with their Mom. We are entering into the teenage years with our children and I must say it is amazing. Watching our children excel at things they love to do is very rewarding. Aside from running- I love photography. I love taking pictures of brand new babies. I love capturing the tender moments of a mother and father holding that precious little one. It draws couples together in amazing ways. I love children, I have the privilege of working in the schools as an EA sub when I'm not snapping pictures and I love it. I've worked with children with special needs and it's been life changing. They teach us of a love that is purely Christ's love.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church. My parents did so much for me and taught me the gospel. There came a time in my life where I had to know for myself if what I was being taught was true. I will never forget the feelings that came into my heart when I truly asked God in faith if the church was true. I had my own sacred grove experience just like Joseph Smith, we read in James 1:5 " If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth; not and it shall be given him" I asked God in faith and I knew without a doubt where my live needed to go. I know this is the true church of Jesus Christ. When we follow the teaching of our Saviour we can find happiness and joy beyond our comprehension.

How I live my faith

I love my faith and I live it everyday. The gospel of Jesus Christ changes lives. I've served in many capacities over the years. I've served with the women in the church, the children, youth and I am currently working in family history. We all have a story to share. What's yours?
