Hi I'm Sarah

I was born in Utah, but moved to Missouri when I was 11. I'm a college student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi! My name is Sarah and I love people and learning! I love talking to people and making new friends. In high school I did color guard, and was captain of my team for two years (junior and senior year). I am now in college, and I love it! I am preparing to serve the Lord as a full-time missionary.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I choose to be. Yes, I was born and raised in the church, but I continue to be in this church because I know that this is the Lord, our Savior's gospel here upon the earth again. It has blessed me in literally every aspect of my life and has given me guidance through times where I have felt lost and utterly alone. Although I was born into the church, I am a convert as well. My conversion didn't happen all at once in some grand event. It happened gradually over time, line upon line, precept upon precept. My testimony grew as I did: a little bit everyday and stronger every time I exercised it. I prayed to know that this gospel and all it's doctrine is true many times over, and every time I received a resounding "Yes, you know that it is true". I have a testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which is found complete and whole in this church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I know that my Savior, Jesus Christ, suffered for all my pain, sickness, sins, and temptations in the Garden of Gethsemane. I know He finished the blessed and sacred Atonement when He died for all upon the cross. I know that through Christ, we all have the opportunity to return to our Heavenly Father, a God that loves us more than we know, to live with Him again with our families. I know that the precious priesthood is truly restored, and I testify that it is real and it is powerful. I know this gospel blesses lives in ways that others can't. I love the Lord and all He has done for me, and all He continues to do for me. I know what I have said is true and I pray that you will find out for yourself that these things are true, in the name of our sacred Lord, Jesus Christ, amen.

How I live my faith

I am a Sunday School teacher in my Young Single Adult Branch and I love it! I love going to the activities planned for the Young Single Adults (unmarried adults ages 18-30), and I help plan them sometimes. I have many friends in church and regularly visit them.
