Hi I'm Madison Connell

I grew up in Utah. I am a dancer and singer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Freshman in college, and I just started my second semester. I have been dancing for 8 years now, but I took a two year break when I went on an exchange program to Germany. I started dancing again last semester and I am planning on majoring in Dance. I started singing in choir in 8th grade, and I have loved singing ever since. I love performing and sharing my gift with the world.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it gives me strength in times of need. I have made several mistakes in my life, but through this gospel, I know that I am forgiven and that I need not dwell on the past. I have seen how living without the gospel affects people, and I am so grateful that I was brought up in the way of righteousness and truth. I am so grateful that I can be an example to others who may be struggling or confused, and I can bring them to the light and give my witness that Heavenly Father truly does forgive and allows us to be whole and clean again.

How I live my faith

In my current ward, I get to lead the music in Sacrament meeting. This is a huge blessing to me, because whenever I lead, I can feel the spirit from the congregation, and it strengthens my testimony and my faith. I know that music can be uplifting, and I see it every week when I stand up on the podium. People who have been struggling can be uplifted through the music that is chosen and sung.
