Hi I'm King Tele Afemata

I'm from the city of Moreno Valley. I'm currently serving a two year mission in Colorado, in Colorado Springs, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Well Brothers and Sisters My name is King Tele Afemata, and I'm 20 years of age and I am now currently serving a full time mission in the great state of Colorado, Colorado Springs. I love to spend time with my family and friends as much as I can. On some occasions I like to play football at a local park with some of the people in the area. I can sketch but I'm not that great at it. It's just something that i like to do to pass the time. My interest is hearing peoples stories and how they came to be who they are. I'm more of a straight to the point. I was attending Moreno Valley Community College, but after my mission I plan to go back to finish my AA degree. Well that's all i have to say about my self.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a strong testimony of this Gospel to know that it is true. I've seen it change many lives and help them make the changes for the better. I know without a doubt that this gospel can bring families together forever. Not just a hope that families can be together forever, but to know that families can stay together for all time and eternity. The only way to change the attitude and behaviors is by showing people the Doctrine of Christ. By telling them the doctrine the hardened hearts of the people of the world well be softened and more willing to listen to the Holy Spirit to confirm within themselves that this gospel is true. That is another wonderful thing about this Gospel of Jesus Christ. To know if what i say is true or if even the Doctrine is true we are invited to pray with a sincere heart and to find out for ourselves. That's my commitment to all who cross my profile. Read the Book of Mormon and find out for your selves if it is true. The only people it benefits is the ones who read and sincerely pray. I promise you that happiness and joy and all the wonders of life will rain upon you. I have seen this for myself and its a great feeling to share. In the name of Jesus Christ Amen.

How I live my faith

I live my faith to the best of my capability. I strive to serve others and worry very little of myself. I believe if i can put my trust and faith in Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ I know that everyone that i care for and even the people that I will encounter will be well taken care of. I know that by my self i won't be able to accomplish anything but with the Lords will and power i can accomplish anything. My goal in life is to turn outward to the people looking for help, so I wake up every day not only to better my life but to better the lives of the people I encounter. And "By my honor I will do my best to do my duty to help other people at all times to keep myself physically strong mentally awake and morally straight"-BSA oath. Take care everyone and know that we are the sons and daughters of Heavenly Father and he loves every single person on this Beautiful earth, and he wants all of us to be with him again.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

King Tele Afemata
A testimony is a witness to given to us by the Holy Ghost. That Gift from God to testify to us that this work this church is True. For that reason we share our own testimonies our witness of the restored gospel. It's that witness that makes us happy and want to share it with others to let them know that the church Jesus Christ established on earth is the same Church that has been restored upon the Earth and it was by Joseph Smith a prophet called of called that was able to do that. It showed that God is still the same then, now, and forever. Calling prophets today to lead his children on the right course to show them the way back to salvation. Show more Show less
