Hi I'm Nathalie

I am a college student. I enjoy painting, and indie music. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I like to be creative. I like to ponder nature, and art and music. I feel like these are all expressions of gods love for us. I love being involved in my church.

Why I am a Mormon

I have not always been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I was baptized 6 years ago in 2009. Growing up I did not have the ideal lifestyle one would. My family was definitely not the ideal, my friends were not really genuine people, and I struggled a lot. I was pretty agnostic/atheist for a while. You know the type. That person who is suddenly religious if they felt they were actually in danger, but with in the blink of an eye would say to you "what god?". I started to recognize that Mormons were actually genuinely good people with out a second motive. I did not want the life I was living. I wanted to be with real people. Their kindness would radiate and honestly in the beginning I was almost confused for a bit to see if I could really trust these guys. So I started to pray. I prayed a lot.(remember I believed there was a god some of the time.) I was invited to social events and church meetings.I attended and participated a lot. I met with and studied with the missionaries and really got to know heavenly father and how much he loved me. After I got baptized I continued still in the religion I had joined. I still had some really hard things come to pass for me, But as I stayed faithful, and did my best to serve and go to church, I realized some of the most amazing blessings of my life. I know without a doubt my heavenly father loves me. I am his daughter. I know my savior lives and loves me. As I trust in the atonement I can not describe anything more real. My religion is bound to me and can not be removed.I promise if you look to truly understand as seek after gods love, that as you try to do good and seek after the spirit, good things will come.

How I live my faith

I live my faith with how I live my life. It must bother people sometimes because I talk about my beliefs so much. My religion is my religion but it is also a part of my heart, spirit and what makes me so happy. I read my scriptures because I love them. I pray because I know I am talking to god. I serve those around me because I love to serve people around me. If I do not do those things daily then I am simply just not as happy.
